Family of Former Mayor Asks Judge to Exhume Body

The Baez Law Firm has filed a Writ of Habeas Corpus in District Court, on behalf of Tonia Bohlke, in order to help the widow of the former Mayor of Hollywood Park, Bill Bohlke. There has been no cooperation from the Atascosa County Sheriff's Office or County Attorney at this time. A hearing has been set for April 21, 2014 in the Presiding Court of Bexar County.

The Bohlke Family has pleaded on multiple occasions to the authorities, but nothing has been done by them. In a News Conference, the Sheriff of Atascosa County David Soward indicated to the media that he received the results of the Forensic Expert's Findings Dr. Vincent DiMaio.  See Below:

However, we requested such report to be provided to our Law Firm and the Sheriff issued this reply:

So, we were wondering, which one is it? Did he get the findings from Dr. DiMaio or did he not? The family is asking that District Judge to issue an Order in order to get this case going. They believe that someone, not a donkey, killed their Patriarch William "Bill" Bohlke. Only time will tell who is telling the truth!

Homicide Detective uncovers more evidence in the murder of Bill Bohlke

We contacted a Homicide Detective to help us solve the murder of Bill Bohlke, since neither the Atascosa County or the Atascosa County Sheriff's Department are willing to help. This is what he has discovered so far...

If you look at the picture on your left, this is a post mortem picture of Bill Bohlke's back.  You can see that the area were the skin has been  removed was not bleeding.

Now, when you fall off a bike and scrape your skin, or when you remove your skin by any means, you will bleed profusely. This happens when the heart is pumping! Your body senses the injury and the blood will be rushing to aid the newly broken skin regenerate. In this picture, Bill was already dead when the skin was removed. Notice that there is no blood, not even dry blood.

If you look further to the picture, on the top left, there appears to be some skin pulling up. It looks like waxy paper. This is called slippage of the skin. This happens when the skin is dead and it starts to decompose. The detective noticed that the slippage was in an upward position, that meant that Bill was already on his stomach, when this injury occurred.

The discoloration on top of the injury is called Tardieu Spots. This was created by pressure, where the capillaries break. All this signs you can see, between 10 to 12 hours after death. This is consistent with the fact that Bill also had Rigor Mortis, which meant that Bill had been dead for longer than 10 hours. Because Bill had already Rigor Mortis, this meant to him that Bill had been moved. His last resting place was not where he was killed.

When the detective looked at the picture on the left, he noticed that Bill has a pale top right across his right cheek but pink to purple discoloration towards his nose, forehead and left cheek. This is called Livor Mortis or lividity. This is caused by a shift of blood from one side to the other.

Now put pressure on any part of your body, when you do that, the part that has the pressure becomes pale, and the blood rushes around the area. In Bill's case, the blood rushes down. This meant to him that he had something heavy putting pressure on his right side of his face.

The detective pointed out that Bill must have suffered tremendous amounts of pressure on his head. He stated that this is typical with suffocation or strangulation. Neither one of which can be caused by a donkey. Unless the donkey sat on Bill Bohlke! This was impossible simply because he had been moved as previously discussed.

Based on this two pictures alone, detective concluded that it was NOT POSSIBLE, for a donkey to have killed Bill Bohlke. In order for a donkey to have killed Bill, the donkey had to have sat on Bill's face, and suffocate him to death, then, put some pressure on his back, then kicked his back and then move him.

This was either a very smart donkey or a freak act of nature. The detective believes that Bill Bohlke was murdered by a human, not a donkey. Please share with every one you know. We need to bring Justice for Bill Bohlke.

The efforts continue in the fight for Bill Bohlke

 

Recently, State Representative Lyle Larson issued a formal letter to the Attorney General of Texas, Gregg Abbot and many other elected officials.  This was in an effort to exhume the body of Former Mayor of Hollywood Park, Bill Bohlke and conduct and autopsy.

Authorities in Atascosa County ruled the death to be accidental. They ruled that a donkey was to blame. They said, case close. To this date, that is in fact what they claim. But why? Why would they not perform an autopsy? Why would they not look into the infamous "boot prints" on the back of his body? How about the fact that Bill did not bleed? No donkey bites? Hoof marks? Why?

Evidence that Bill Bohlke, former mayor of Hollywood Park, was killed by a donkey, but by a human!

The Bohlke's family is asking that the public get involved and call the authorities. Tonight, there will be a live broadcast on Kens 5 Eye Witness News into the matter. This is in an effort to Re-Open the murder investigation in the case of the former Mayor Bill Bohlke, allegedly killed by a donkey. There are too many inconsistencies in the case, but the authorities will not do anything to help the family.

For the first time, here are some of the pictures of the crime scene:

As you can see, the ground is undisturbed as Former Mayor Bohlke lies dead. Where are the animal prints on the ground? Even a piece of weed remains undisturbed. Highly unlikely if an animal attacked the former Mayor. What is that across his cheeks? Looks like the mark that a pipe would leave on the body, not a donkey.

This is not a hoof mark from a donkey, this is a boot print on the back of Bill Bohlke! Unless the donkey wears size 10 to 12 in shoes, that is very unlikely caused by a donkey. Donkeys do not wear boots.

Several boot prints on the back of Mayor Bill Bohlke the night of his murder. Again, donkeys do not wear boots, humans do!

These  pictures should be very clear! The Sheriff of the Atascosa County needs to Re-Open an investigation.

These are the Seven Questions that the family has for the Sheriff of Atascosa County:

1) If the donkey was found with large amounts of blood, where did the blood come from? Mr. Bohlke did not bleed!

2) If the donkey was aggressive as you stated in your statement, why did the clothing come back negative for any animal residue? A lot of animal residue should have been found.

3) If a donkey attacked Mr. Bohlke aggressively, why was the ground undisturbed? The pictures show no signs of animal marks on the ground.

4) If a donkey attacked Mayor Bohlke, why were there no bite marks on his body? DNA forensic evidence should disprove this theory.

5) If a the case was investigated by the Texas Rangers, where is the Report? The Rangers told the family no such report exist.

6) Have you question the two suspects, the men that went to buy the bull the day that Bill Bohlke was killed, after the family gave the information to the authorities? No one has been question by authorities.

7) Why did Mr. Bohlke not bleed after an aggressive attack by a donkey? After all, he was taking Plavix. Blood should have been everywhere!

The Bohlke's family deserve better! Mayor Bohlke was a hero, and the authorities in Atascosa County are not helping to solve this case. This is NOT A CLOSE CASE!!! RE-OPEN the investigation.

Former Mayor Bill Bohlke was Not killed by a Donkey....Atascosa County Needs to Open a Murder Investigation

On August 27, 2012, former mayor of the city of Hollywood Park, William "Bill" Bohlke, went to his ranch to sell a bull....he never came back! That night, his family were telling the authorities, he was murdered, they did not listen.

The investigation took an initial report of ONE page and a supplemental report of two. That was it! They found the culprit. Case close. This is what the report says "Reporting officer believed at this time because of the actions of the bull and injuries that William Bohlke received, that William Bohlke was trampled by livestock."

Today, a year and a half later, the family continues to fight and ask that the Atascosa County authorities Re-Open an investigation to determine the true death of Bill.
